KENT OZANI by Dogan Altuner (German with Turkish Subtitles)
“A Poetic Journey in Istanbul”

Through observational images, shaped by poems and music, viewers witness people, stories and cultures meeting in Istanbul.

The audience follows the perspective and sensitivity of the German writer José F. A. Oliver, who was born in Andalusia. He spends a great deal of time in Istanbul and observes life for us through his poetic perception, which he underscores with thoughts from his personal diary.

José F. A. Oliver is a poet from Hausach in the Black Forest. With him, we explore the city of Istanbul and see how he transforms what he perceives into poems. This is how this poetic documentary came into being.
